My Sympathy goes out to your family. May the God of peace be with you at this time of grief (Rom 15:33).
It thrills my heart to hear of the fondness Mr. Nelson had for the place of his birth and early upbringing! It assures me that my Mom, the late "Sister Baker" used to tell me that living down the bayous was not all bad and poor like some people said it was. I am sure as we move on, we too will appreciate the simple things in life that got us to the better livings just because we too started out simple and appreciated our meager beginnings that set us in place for the larger success we experienced in life and that ultimate one in Glory with Christ Jesus and our friends! RIP Mr. Nelson!
Calvin and my father had a decades-old friendship that clearly transitioned from Earth to Heaven....it brings comfort to think that they both passed in the same week and are now enjoying "Round Two" of their eternal friendship! Hugs to Virginia and Melody, Lisa Matrisciani Seeker
"The association and Friendship with Calvin over the past 60+ years, both at work and play on the golf course will always be with fond memories"
