Alexander Family, we had many great laughs on the soccer field sidelines with your mother. Her humor lives on in all of us. Love to all of you.

I too graduated with Carol in the class of '56. After reading the guest book entries I remembered what I most appreciated about Carol. She had a beautiful smile; as her daughter said it lit up the room. What an amazing legacy: to have such big challenges in her life and still be cheerful and grateful. My husband Jim and I send condolences to all of Carol's family--so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. As classmates of Carol's at Roosevelt High School we will cherish our fun high school memories. Jim was also a Longfellow Junior High School classmate of Carol's.

Mrs. Alexander was the blocks most awesome party planner and shared many a creative idea with my grandmother for almost all our school days at Monroe. Her creativity and love was SO evident in everything she did. She made some of the best memories of my childhood just a bit, bigger, and certainly brighter. My sincere condolences to you all...
