I am sorry to hear of Carol's passing---I worked with her many years ago, and she was a wonderful lady!!
Dear Bob, Jeff and Jordan, I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She was such a good friend and neighbor when we first moved to LZ. I have such fond memories of the things we did together all those years ago! Jordan you used to walk over to my house to "play"- always with a goofy hat on! The time Carol made Jeff's B-day cake and left it on the counter and came home to find that one of the cat's had jumped up and licked all the frosting off! And had to make another's but she was always smiling!! I'm sure you'll miss her like crazy, but may your memories comfort you! Fondly, Lauren Claypool Lake Zurich, I'll.
Carol was a terrific person and constantly doing things for others, usually thinking of others before herself.
She will be sorely missed in our bowling leagues and mostly in our hearts for all the sweetness she always emitted. She also gave the best hugs ever.
I hope her pain she felt on earth has ended. She was my friend.
Carol's life was a gift to so many other lives through her loving, caring, her genuinely sweet spirit, and selfless giving. Her greatest joy was bringing a smile to others. Now we can smile through memories of this incredible lady, who will live in the hearts of those of us left on earth, for however long the Lord gives us. Carol welcomed my son and I into her home during Thanksgiving and Christmas to share that special time with her own family, knowing we were alone. She "babysat" my rather loud cat for over a month during my move, and never complained or seemed inconvenienced at all. She, Robert and Jeff (and Jake!) came to my house and helped me out during a domestic situation, and I'll never forget that kindness and support. Carol and I sat together for 12 hours a week, for several months at La Hacienda, plus meetings on weekends, and I'll always remember her words of wisdom and ability to articulate so well...it was quite amazing and helped so many people who were struggling. She was one smart, talented and loving lady who will be deeply missed. Prayers for peace and comfort to Robert and her family and many friends of this lady who defined love.
Carol was such a sweet and kind person. She was always so positive and smiling all the time. I feel very blessed for the short period of time that I knew Carol thru bowling. She was a joy to have around. She will be missed very much. Thoughts and Prayers to Carol's family. May God be with you all!! Karen Robins (Navasota, Tx)
