To my Grandmother Carrie, you will be always remembered with love. Kind and giving, always with open arms and a smile that would brighten any room. She made me a red tackle box nursing kit when i was very young. She put a stethoscope, nurses hat and bandages inside. The neatest part was she took many pill bottles inside and filled them with M & M's and skittles. We looked up to her and wanted to be like her. She even helped nurse me when their horse "Doc" bit me on the head. I remember playing with all the animals and being excited to gather the chicken eggs. She let us check every 5 minutes without complaints. She always had cherry Jello waiting for me and my sister. She was resilient and gracious and kept the family close. Because of her I became a nurse. I think of her every day as I care for others, and now fully know how big a persons heart and love can truly become. Thank you Grandma Carrie, I will love and admire you always.

Dear Sherri, Sharlene, and Shelli, It was always a pleasure to have your mother visit. She was kind and loving and always interested in everything our children were doing. We would go to ball games or antiquing or visit a friend. She loved to tell us all about her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She would say "I have three beautiful daughters...and one little boy". We loved her dearly and will miss her visits. Much love, Don and Peg

My Grandmother Carrie was called home to heaven. She was an incredible woman with the sweetest smile and most caring heart..

She spent her life helping others as an amazing nurse. I remember her in her uniform quite often as a child. It was so fun to visit her at work and get a lollipop. My favorite gift was my own nurses kit that she lovingly made me for xmas. I had a real nurses cap, a stethescope and a smock that she embroidered my name on. Grandma carried that tradition on with other grandkids as well. Several family members including children and grandchildren followed her into nursing careers.

I have so many wonderful memories of growing up with her in the family built home. She always made a big bowl of cherry jello for my sister and I when we came to visit. I will never forget the fun times we had at grandmas house, gathering eggs, feeding the farm animals, riding horses in the fields long before the tract homes went in!! The holiday celebrations and the family gathered around the big dinner table.

Rest in Peace dear Grandma Carrie, you are so loved and will be soooo missed!!! I hope that Great Grandpa Pop & Grandpa Wilbur were there to greet you when you arrived. xoxoxoxo All of our love to you Grandma forever!!!!
