I am honored to have known Charlie since 1975, and to have shared many a laugh. A beloved, gentle-man, whose keen wit and million dollar smile made everyone in his presence feel they were the most important person alive. So glad to have been a colleague and friend. We will miss you, Charlie.
Known to me only through this impressive obituary, I would like to have known Charlie better. My deep sympathy to his family.
