Charlie, The year has gone by so fast but there isn't a day you're not thought of in some way or another. We, mainly Paul tells your jokes all the time and the girls will look at me and I'll say “that's a grandpa joke!” I know you and Eileen are together watching over your family and are with us every day. We love and miss you both!

Dad,
I remember all the great times we shared when I was growing up. You taught me to fish, play basketball, tennis and attempted to teach me to play baseball. You were the best dad I could have hoped for. You and mom loved each other very much and it was great growing up in such a loving house. I miss you and mom so much.

Love,
Paul

Hey Charlie - I can't believe it's been almost a year since you left to be with Eileen. I miss you but I'm glad you're with your best girl "playing Cape" (hopefully)!!!! Miss you and love you - Laura

Hi Daddy, It's August 1st and your 94th birthday. I thought I'd might be spending it with you in Florida this year, but God had a different plan for you and I'm truly happy that you are spending it with your sweatheart Mom in heaven. We all miss you both, but we have wonderful memories. You were the best "pool boy" ever! You would come out to the pool when Mom, me, Tracey and Jess were swimming or playing beachball (and careful not to get Mom's hair wet) and ask, "Can I get you girls anything," and you would bring out some ice tea or coffee for us. I love you and Mom and miss you, but I know you are both happy that you're together again.

Love,

Pat

Dear Grandpa, I will miss you forever. I know that you are with your sweetheart, Grandma and that you are both very happy spending eternity together in love with no worries. I will never forget all the things you taught me and all the time we spent together. I am very lucky that I had you in my life for 45 years. I still remember all the fond memories we had, especially when we went to Disney World when I was 7 and when you would take Brian and I fishing with Uncle Paul and somehow I would always cast and catch a "boat". But most of all I will remember that you taught me the most important lesson - how to love someone. You and grandma have a very special love that now you can share together always in Heaven. I know that the first thing you said when you arrived and saw her smiling face is "all the kids are doing well and will be ok". You are a true inspiration to a family and always led by example. I can gladly say that I am so thankful you were a part of my life from the day I was born to the day I was married. I am very grateful that we saw you last year and even though you could not hang on until we visited in May, I know that you and grandma are truly happy again together where you both belong. I will miss you deeply but I can honestly say that I visited as much as I could am I am very glad for all the special times together. I can truly call you and grandma my friends and I am so blessed to have had you for 45 years. Love always Tracey "Banana Head"
