We were shocked and saddened when we received the news of Chuck's passing. Joyce and I spent many hours playing golf with Chuck. We were honored to meet Rose in March 2011 shortly before they were married. We went to dinner at their favorite Mexican resturant. As we were leaving to eat, Chuck closed the front door and immediately realized he had left his keys in the locked house. He eventually got a ladder, cut through a screen and found the window had not been latched. Of course that set off the security alarm. He struggled through the window, and turned off the alarm and we then enjoyed a nice meal. I worked with Chuck in the Master Gardeners and he helped me build our downtown park. He was tireless in his volunteer work including the Master Gardeners, the Trenton Tree Board and Riverside Country Club. We will miss him.
