Charlie "Peanut" Faircloth Sr.
Stranger things have happened no doubt, but I just turned on the TV RFDTV and Ralph Emery is interviewing Brenda Lee. No telling how old the interview is, but she mentioned Peanut Faircloth and Red Foley. She said that Peanut is still alive and living in Chattanooga. That's when I decided to google Peanut Faircloth and found this obituary and story of his death. Long story short, I remember listening to Peanut Faircloth on a station in Crossville, Tn., back in the 70's I think. Sorry to see he is no longer with us.
We have a number of 45 and 78 records of Mr. Faircloth in our warehouse. There are possible duplicates and these are on Bibletone label. If any of the family or friends are interested, you may call 615-885-8000 or 704-918-9919.
Sorry about Peanuts demise. I played fiddle for him on his HOEDOWN PARTY GANG and enjoyed working with him on the network. Hal Casey.
Very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. My sincere condolences to his loved ones. I spin his recording of "Coffee, Cigarette's And Tears" on my volunteer radio show "Good & Country" on KFAI every once in a while.
did not get to meet him, but have heard wonderful things about him from my sister. Best thing is that he knew the Lord.
