My Nana was one of the most strongest women I've even known. She is an example to me of what a woman truly is. She always encouraged me to be true to myself; to be responsible, and to love God. Nana- I will miss you so much! I want to make you proud. I'm finishing my degree and I want you to know I will always carry your strong spirit inside of my heart. I love you, Nana!

My Dear Mom was such a great and strong woman. Before the women's revolution she made her mark in her work and with her family. Having to raise 3 strong willed sons pretty much on her own is a daunting task to say the least. But my mother persevered, fought through tough times and conquered many obstacles. Mom was also a compassionate and a very loving and caring person, she had a heart that was much more bent to love than malice. I believe you feel the loss of greatness and goodness much more than you would feel the loss of aloofness and indifference. For very sure the loss in this world of Mom Ballard is a loss of greatness and goodness. I love you Mom and I know your spirit lives on and is soaring high in heaven. Mom I believe you are now in the presence of your Lord and many family and friends that have gone before you to make your place ready, so that your transition would be glorious. Thank you Mother, thank you for my life and for being the great woman you have always been.
