LCpl. Christopher Blake Rodgers

It is with great respect that I extend my sympathy to you on the loss of this wonderful young man. It is he and those like him that give us the freedom to get up in the morning and choose what to do. We have the freedom amd safety because he stepped up and said he would not let us go unprotected. Not only did Blake give his life for my safety but so has his family. When the tears flow at remembering him may they also find a smile of pride for the brave character in the son they raised. May God grant them peace.

Blake, thinking of you and your sister and mom and dad. Didn't know you personally but your passing as our Hero touched me and my daughter's lives so. We were outside of Spalding High and my work as you passed by in your procession. We attended your memorial service, my daughter in ROTC uniform, and your burial. We thank you for your sacrifice for us Blake. We keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I am in awe at the patriotic love of country this young man had developed so soon. He belongs to the ages, and may our country always stand for liberty and may the ages always honor the sacrifice Christopher chose to make. God Bless Your family, God bless America.
