Mr. Hale was my scoutmaster in Troop 76. He was a wonderful and generous man who gave so much of his time to help turn boys into men. He even taught me to make a "coffee can casserole”. His son, Greg, was one of my best friends. I want to send my heartfelt condolences to his other son, Spike, who I remember to this day the night he got his Eagle badge and how proud his dad was. I am so sorry that I did not look your dad up before he passed away.
Mr. Hale was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed. His work in the 'old neighborhood' is remembered to this day! I really hated to hear about his passing. I found out just shortly after my mother passed on March 5th. Ya'll are in my prayers.
We miss Ed.

Mr. Hale was a true gentleman and an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with. The world is a lesser place without him.
