I met Cregg many years ago. He was known by his hunting buddies in Granville County as "Railman" and "Railroad". We always knew when he was near as he would play a train horn over the cb radio to announce his presence. He was a cheerful fellow, and made those around him appreciate living life in the right now. We miss you Railroad, and you are always there with us in spirit while we are running dogs. I wanted to express my sympathies to the family, I just heard about his passing yesterday. God Bless.
Cregg, we are going to miss you so much. You have enriched our lives with your friendship. We'll always treasure the memories of the great fun our families shared over the years. Eva, we know how much you will miss Cregg, but you can take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together as well as your extended family at the Lake. I know their love will get you through this difficult time. Eva, please let us know if we can do anything at all for you and your family. We will miss Cregg very much and we are fortunate to have been among his friends. With love, Bob and Terri Witt
We will always miss our friends laughter, but you will always be in our hearts. Thanks for being a friend to us over the years. God be with you and your family forever. Til we meet again somewhere over the rainbow our friend.
For over 20 years I was able to call Cregg a friend. But truthfully he was more like a brother. He will be missed. Rest in Peace my brother. 'JB'
