We were looking for a neighbor's missing cat one day and someone told us about Sami being the cat person in the area. She lived only a few blocks from us and soon became a good friend. We often stopped by to chat and visit "C.W." also known as "The Greeter" - an older cat who always came out to meet us. Sami loved showing us her latest batch of foster kittens. We moved away but kept in touch, and Sami kept us posted on how she was doing and sent us animal-related news. The last email we got was about African elephants marching for miles to pay final respects to a man who had helped them. We can imagine many cats in Carson City doing the same thing in memory of their friend Sami. All the good work she did for kitties has earned her a special place at the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss her very much.

I met Sami when I volunteered at the Cat Shelter. What a kind, compassionate woman! The kitties were so lucky she was there for them. She also helped when my own cat, Malcolm, was ill and I appreciate that ever so much. Sami, you'll be seeing all those special kitties that have passed on waiting for you in heaven.
I knew Sami for 6 or 7 years. I was very impressed with her deep love for cats. She had so much knowledge of how to care for kitties. She had a great sense of humor and was one of the few people I could call at midnight without waking her up. I will miss her a lot. Hug your angel kitties Sami, they'be been waiting for you. Love always.
You have insured your place in heaven, your love and caring nature for kitties was heavenly. Getting to know you, has earned a special place in my heart. Rest now and know that everyone will be OK. You will be missed.
Bless you for all of the care you gave to all of the foster animals, you saved so many souls, and I believe they did the same for you. Thank you for being so extraordinary.
