So sad to hear of Dr. Proctor's passing. He made a tremendous difference in my life as he spoke truth and gave steadfast encouragement. He exemplified all that was 4-H and was a man of heartfelt relationships. He will be truly missed, but always remembered! Bless you and your family. Dasha Efird Little, 78 State 4-H Club Secretary.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I met Dalton years ago when he served on the Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council Board of Directors. He was always very friendly and helpful. Dalton made a meaningful impact on our organization for which we will always be grateful. He was a wonderful supporter of the youth in our state.
Most sincerely,
Cathy Stipe

Ruby and Family,
Dalton really enjoyed working with young kids. Back in the 80's when I was teaching 5th Grade at Adams Elementary, I sponsored the Junior Achievement Club. He came to my class and taught a wonderful lesson to the students on how they could be anything or do anything if they set high goals for themselves. Prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Ruby,

You may not remember me, but I remember you and Dalton, especially when I told him he was my Elvis Presley when we were vising someone in the hospital. I'm so sorry for your loss and the painful separation I know you must feel. I hope and pray that you are in good health.

With sincere regrets,

Carol Thigpen

Ruby & Family, Thank you very much for sharing Dalton with so many of us...he was smart, innovative, considerate, determined, hard-working, humorous, and "then some". Thank you for sharing pictures of his journey...what wonderful eyes, fabulous smile, achievements, a '56 Chevy ?, and still a head full of hair! He was one of the best. I'm proud to have known & worked with him,
