I hand lettered Dan's first spray truck back in 1976 or so. He will always remain in memory for me as I was new in business myself and he was kind enough to give me a chance to show my craft. I knew him through his sister-in-law, Barbara. Thanks Dan Hunter, it's a pleasure to know you.

What beautiful tribute to Dan's life. Dan was life long friend, and I count him as one of my dearest friends. Dan was truly one of a kind and I had great respect for him. He was straight up and deeply caring... I will miss our long "philisophical" discussions about life. There are so many happy memories of great times with our families. From all through school, in the Army in W. Germany, raising kids and so many more... It is hard to believe he is gone but he will always be in our hearts. My deep felt condolences to you Bonnie, Jenni, Greg, Jared and Harlan for your great loss. Love you, Lorry

We were deeply saddened and shocked by Dan's passing. I met Dan while we were serving together as Deputy Finance and Accounting Officers in West Berlin, Germany. Sarah and I have many great memories of our time together with Dan and Bonnie in Berlin. We continued our friendship for the past 40 years. While we had not seen Dan for a few years as we live in Colorado, we have always considered Dan (and Bonnie) good friends. Dan had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. We will certainly miss him. Our thoughts are with Bonnie, Jenni, and the rest of the family.

Bonnie, Jenni, Greg, Jared and Harley there is nothing more I can say that has not already been said about Dan. From the moment I met him I loved him. He was as close to a dad as I had while in school with Jenni, and thereafter. Always good for a laugh and a hug! I will miss him and regret that I was not able to see him before he passed. However Jenni, as you have been my friend for over the last 20 years, how can I not think of dad while with you? And I mean that as a compliment :) You are lucky to have been his daughter and Bonnie, you his wife. Jared and Harley, I've no doubt you had a whole lot of fun with your grandfather and are so fortunate to have those memories to cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, always. May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories that Dan left behind.
