I had just returned from the card shop where I picked up a card to cheer David up. Your card was in the mail at the same time. I was so shocked that he went so fast. He called me about a week or so ago.
The memories I have of David, I will never forget. He was in the 775 at Fort Snelling as was my husband. We had so much fun with David, I will never forget him and all the crazy times we all had together. My heart goes out to all the family over your loss. It is a big one I am sure. I am glad we had pictures of him during our fun times. And I am a better person for knowing him.
He always had such a great smile and was a joy to my mom with all of his teasing when he'd call her. His wit will be missed by many I'm sure.
Hank and I would like to express our deepest sympathy and heart felt prayers at this difficult time. When David and I were kids, we played a lot together whenever our families got together. He was so funny!! The family clown. I remember when the dance called the "Twist" was popular. Family wanted Dave and I dance together. We moved so fast. Family members would laugh watching us. Also the game twister was a hoot. I was taller than David so I could reach more colors. It got pretty twisted. I have many more fond memories of David. David would call my mom and they would talk for hours. He was close to my mom. My mom was very fond of David. Now they are talking up a storm in heaven. David, you will be truly missed. Love you. Love, your cousin Sharon
