MESSAGE TWELVE FROM Henry KUBICKI
Oh, my dear David Crumley,
You were a bright shining light.
You were a blithe spirit.
You were so extremely brilliant and talented. You were so eager to love and be loved.

You had such hopes and strong desires to dream the dreams And achieve for yourself, your mother, me, Steven Perrit And the city you loved, New Orleans, that for the most part were never fully realized.
You loved us so much.

So Rest in Peace my Friend and Love,
Rest in Peace Forever.
I loved you very much
Henry Kubicki.

1984 New Orleans World's Fair, 3 times Martha Ann Crumley wore out the batteries. Poor David Crumley, tuckered out, had to push her electric cart each time back to rental place to pick up fresh battery. You Go Girl!

David was very kind and helpful to me while I was researching a book on the UpStairs Lounge fire, always offering support.

MESSAGE 1 from Henry Kubicki
I am “Henry Kubicki”, David Crumley was my dearest friend of 36 years and was husband of 13 years (1978 - 1991). David was not my companion, not my roommate not my life-mate, but he was my husband and I was his husband.
My parents, CMD. Edward Kubicki and Margaret Kubicki, loved David O. Crumley unconditionally, he was in fact was their son-in-law and was treated with love and respect he deserved.

Due to irreconcilable differences in 1991 we separated amicably. We still loved and respected each other, and frequently communicated with each other, though it was not possible to remain together.
