Dear all, I know how special Uncle Dave was to you all and how much he will be missed. All those memories have been deposited in your memory banks and will never be withdrawn. Uncle Dave will always be close to you, because he made an impact on each one of you. As the song goes...."thanks for the memories, Uncle Dave." Much love, Diane D'Aiuto (Bowie)

My great uncle Dave was an absolutely amazing man. So kind, so caring, so loving and supportive. When I was growing up I always enjoyed his company at our frequent family gatherings, but unlike most of our family members, uncle Dave was much more quiet and reserved. When I had my daughter, Alexis, I saw a whole new side of uncle Dave. He absolutely adored my daughter, and I am so blessed and grateful for the relationship both her and I developed with him over the last few years. I will forever cherish the time we spent together, and will never forget the way his face would light up when he saw Alexis. His memory I will hold dear and close to my heart. We love you uncle Dave, and miss you so much!

As I take a deep breath and try to absorb the loss of someone so, so dear to me..,I can hardly express how much I am going to miss him. He was so special, by that I mean so caring, so concerned, always being there for me. My Uncle Dave was so wonderful...making sure we understood how much our family is dependent on one another, to insure that we understood that family is what is important. So strong and assertive, yet soft spoken. I Love him so much

My uncle, David Russell Dreher, was one of the finest people I have ever known. He was much more than an uncle to me. He was a dear friend, mentor, teacher, advisor and I will miss him very much. I love you Uncle Dave! I am so glad I told him that I loved him when we were together. There were so many things we were still planning to do but I am blessed and lucky for the times we did spend together. I miss you my friend, God bless you. Paul Douglas Peters
