I have been blessed with many Uncles, who at times throughout my life have done many great things for me, I am so grateful. It's hard for me to put down in words how I feel about your sudden death and all the memories that come flashing back to me. At one time in my life when I was younger, you and Rosina took me into your home in the Manor. You gave me a place to stay when I had no where to go, thank you for doing that, you will always have a special place in my heart. I will always cherish the memories of you coming over to my house, drinking beer and taking shots of tequila, just sitting around and talking about the family. Thank you for being a brother, companion, and a friend to my mom. Tio Davee, You were gracious and giving and a wonderful Uncle to us all.

You will be missed "TIO DAVEE". The memories I have of you will be cherished. Going to your Amapola restaurant on Mt.Vernon was always a treat. Lots of people went there because of you. You made people feel welcomed and like family. Amapola is a successful business because of your hard work. I also remember going on trips to the lake in your blue van that you loved so much. Haha. You were always so giving and kind. You will be missed Tio. It saddens me that our entire family did not stay as close as GRANDMA would have liked us to. Give Grandma and Tio Juan a big hug for me TIO DAVEE. and remember its not GOODBYE its SEE YOU LATER!!! LOVE your nephew Migalito.

Tio Davee, you will be missed and remembered always. My mom and grandma love you dearly and it is hard right now for them. Growing up with you visiting our home became apart of mine and my cousins child hood. We have fond memories of your stays with us that will be cherished. I remember my last time seeing you. Enjoying some sweet bread and coffee in my grandma's kitchen. It reminded me of what Home feels like. Your smile is what I will remember the most. Thank you for loving my Mom as much as you do. Rest in Paradise and say hello to Tio Juan.
