David Hudson

I started calling him Wavey Davey because his hair got long in the mid 90s. He would look at me with a "you are a weirdo" grin on his face most of the time I was around him.

We all enjoyed being with him so much. To witness the joy he received by simply being in the presence of his family was cool.

Professionially, he emphasized others and preferred to operate behind the scenes. He was a curious intellectual.

Wavey Davey (Senore Hudson) was a pure and simple country boy. He was humble, reliable, tender even.

He was the genuine real deal.
Like the guy in the movie, Brother Where Art Thou, he was "Bona Fide!"

Senore Hudson, you are loved and missed.

Amy and family, David will truly be missed. Oklahoma is a better place because he lived - he was "one of the Good Guys."

David was a kind hearted and sweet soul. He was a great grandfather to my daughters, Murphy and Maeve, and was always wonderful to me. He will be missed by all. Love you David!

My thoughts are with you, Tara. May peace and loving thoughts dominate your heart and mind.
All my love.

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.
