My beautitful friend, how I miss your laugh.
Dawn and I were friends in high school and UGA through a mutual friend. We reconnected on Facebook last year about the time we were moving back home to Atlanta from SC. She said she was also looking forward to moving back soon, and talked about where you might live, and I was so hoping it would be close enough to us to be able to easily get together. We shared a lot of the same views of the world, and I knew that as soon as she got here, we could get together and have such a great time laughing about our antics in our teens, and about the world today. I was waiting to get a message from her telling me when you all were moving, and then I saw that she passed away and just couldn't believe it. She never mentioned being sick to me! I had no idea. I am so sad that we will never get to have that reunion, and rekindle that friendship from so many years ago. She was so beautiful inside and out! I will miss her, as will everyone who had the opportunity to meet her and knew her. Such a great loss, way too soon! Deepest sympathies to her family.
Dawn I will forever mss you, and keep you as an inspiration to keep fighting this horrible disease we both had to deal with. I know you are in a better place now, out of PAIN, and know that one day I will see you again. Prayers for your beautiful family. Love always, Kelley Dockx
