Denny was one of the neighborhood kids when we were growing up and he spent many hours at our home with my brothers. There are so many good memories of him from our childhood and the mischief he and Bud could get in to, contributed greatly to the grey hair of both Moms. He loved life and it was evident in everything he did. He will always be remembered as a caring, fun-loving friend to all who knew him.
I only met Dennis a couple of years ago. From the moment he sat down in my chair, I knew he was an incredibly special guy. It has been my great pleasure to keep his wild, white mane under control (at least somewhat). I am certain he will be both missed and celebrated for years to come.
What a wonderful time of celebration of Denny's life yesterday at Lindsey's and at the Elks Club. Denny's spirit was felt throughout. So moving were the tributes given to Denny for the many and varied ways he touched the lives of others.
Dennis was my brother in law for 47 years who helped me through life's ups and downs emotionally, as he did many people he was always there with humor to make a bad situation seem ok. I am so sorry for my sister and niece's lose. He was a wonderful man who was always a mentor for me. He had a compassionate for life and family including our family. He will be dearly missed. A wonderful man. Debbie
Earlyn and Kathy - Denny was one of my really good friends in High School and we reconnected during the past year via email - it was wonderful to share names and memories with him and he was so great at keeping up with people and making everybody he came into contact with feel important. We will miss him as I know you will and know that we all loved him dearly. Jacqui Reeke Lilly
