Denva Ruth Fetzer

April 04, 2012
Denva will always be a part of the special memories in my life. I am so sorry to hear of her passing but she is now in her permanent home in heaven and waiting for the rest of us to come too. While reading her obituary I came to realize that Bill and Denva met one week before I was born. That kind of holds a special place in my heart also. I drove cars for Hertz with Denva and Bill for a lot of years and came to know her and Bill very well. They always made the trips fun and there was never a dull moment. Denva liked to talk about cooking and all the things she experienced as a girl growing up. She also spoke about her family--always with love in her heart and a proud smile on her face. Denva and Bill spent 61 years together as husband and wife and I know this has to be very hard on Bill but God is taking care of him now as is all of his family. I felt very honored to be a part of their friends and I will never forget either of them. Denva was happy with the life she had here on earth and now she is pain free and joyfully experiencing in her heavenly realm the love God has been keeping just for her.

My heart goes out to your family. Denva was a very dear lady. I loved her sense of humor and loving, caring ways. She now has her reward with the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear of Denva's passing and the loss you all feel. I remember how she always made the "youth group" feel welcome at her house. She was a big part of my memories of growing up in Yakima. My love to the whole family.

We loved Denva and wish we could have been there for her celebration of her life. We know she is in a better place.
