Dmytro was a faithful friend to all in the Flint Ukrainian community. He regularly visited the sick and elderly of St. Vladymir's parish and cheered them with banter about the economy and politics, reminiscence about the homeland and the travails of their early immigration years in America. His presence will be missed.

My dad Wasyl and Dmytro were very close and best friends. Lots of very good memories. Dmytro was like a 2nd father to the Leschuk boy's (Michael, Robert and Daniel). He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.
