So sorry to learn of Don's passing. We worked together at IBM for probably 30 years. Don joined me on a fishing trip to Alabama for crappie in the eighties. It was a good trip.

My sympathy goes out to Rosie and her family. I worked with Don for many years at IBM... I got into trouble and Don was always available to bale me out. I still remember you and your family camping out at my cottage in Dover In. I did not know of his passing until just today. So sorry I missed his wake. Try to remember the words of St. Paul I believe. "Eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him."

Don Bell family,
I worked with Don for several years at IBM while he and I both covered the Brylane (Lane Bryant) account. He was an excellent Systems Engineer, always concerned for his customers. I had the privilege of getting to know Don outside of IBM as he and I spent a couple of Saturdays fishing a lake near Sullivan, IN, back in the mid-80's. Don will be missed. My condolences to Don's family.

Family & Friends of Don Bell,

I knew Don from 1970 forward at American States Insurance. He was an IBM'er who was a software engineer who supported our operating systems for years! He helped ASI live through the new computer/new system meltdown of 1970/1971! Perhaps one of the greatest FLUBS for a corporation in the annals of Indianapolis! Don worked around the clock for weeks until the Disaster was quelled! He was a dedicated professional.

When Don joined ASI (thanks to the rat-pack {that pack was in the system somewhere} at IBM) we saw the whole other personable side of Don as a fellow Systems & Programmer employee! He was a very nice gentleman on a personal basis!

Don treated me "right" & I will always respect him as a gentleman & a colleague! He was a Good Guy!

Psalm 23 says: "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. -- Mercy & Goodness shall follow me all the days of my life & I shall dwell in the house of The Lord forever. Amen."

May God Bless the memory of Don Bell & may he be helping God keep His heavenly systems running smoothly! (Not that God needs anyone's help, but He is kind to us in every way!!!
