It was my pleasure to meet and spend time with Don. We work together at the Central Washington Home Builders Association with Don serving as the Membership Recruiter. He was personally responsible for bringing in over 600 new members to the organization during his tenure of service.
From Don, I learned the meaning of bringing a faith filled approach to my work, showing up everyday with a plan to accomplish and the joy of doing the best I can each day.
God always had a plan for Don and it was through His plan that Don and Ruth became a part of my life. I will always be blessed and will continue to strive to reach the examples of kindness to my fellow man and to the level of professionalism through my work and love for my family that Don always displayed.
I will miss him greatly.

Met Don and his wife Ruth back 2002. Don took each person he met under his wing as if they were family. Very caring, loving man who will be dearly missed. Our Heavenly Father has an angel with him to look over us all. God bless you Mr. Don Merritt, love you so.. We will be there for Ruthie...
My husband Mike and I enjoyed meeting Don and Ruth at West Valley Church about 10 years ago. He was always a joy to see and visit with - so friendly and caring! We are sad he is gone but rejoice that he is with the Lord. Our prayers for comfort and strength go out to his wonderful wife Ruth and the rest of his family!
