Words can only begin to describe an important man to so many people. I had the pleasure of having Mr.Moehnke his first year of band at EHS and the next year, he took the baton from Wikie and he taught/conducted orchestra. What an inspiration he was to all of us. I use many things he taught me to this day.He was my favorite teacher and mentor. My condulances to his family. Mr. Moehnke was so very special to a lot of us kids. EHS 1967-1970

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Don was long in patience as my personal tutor and helped me improve my trumpet skills greatly. What a great focused teacher. He will be missed by all that knew him

I am very saddened to hear of Mr. Moehnke's passing. He was a huge influence in my life. I would not be the person I am today without his kindness, mentoring, and guidance. Ron Kilburn (EHS class of '75)
