Donna contributed so much to our international women's group by teaching us about her religion, or demonstrating yarn spinning, or showing slides of her time in Spain. Despite of her trials she was always positive, always a lady. In my heart I will always have a picture of a beaming Donna whenever she was talking about her son, or her daughter-in-law and, of course, her precious little granddaughter. My deepest sympathy to the whole family,
Irmeli Vale, Sandy, Utah
From an alumna of Northwestern University, to the family of Donna Jean Barnow Balandrin, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences for your loss, and as you grieve, may God the hearer of prayer help you to endure this trying time and grant you peace as spoken of at Psalm 65:2
Our hearts and prayers are with you,
Laura & Pete Balandrin & Family
We are very sad to hear of Donna's passing. She was always a warm and bright presence. We trust she will remain so in the hearts of Manny, David, and all those who loved her.
I will miss Donna's sweet smile,
and her calm, compassionate and kind spirit.
She will always remain an inspiration of perseverance and kindness. She fought cancer with dignity and appreciation of life. My personal hero.
