Daryl, Larry, Gary, Harold & Jeanette,
I am very sorry to hear about Donna's passing. I have such fond memories of my time spent at the Dooks family home and hanging out in the valley. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Perry Weir, Slocan, BC
Donna was like another mother to me. Her generous spirit and hospitality always made me feel welcome. Having the shelter and comfort of her home to go to, especially for Sabbath lunches, gave me a sense of security and acceptance. This helped me tremendously by sheltering and growing my fragile spirituality. For this I will be forever grateful.
Donna was meticulous, thoughtful, self-sacrificing, and strong willed. She raised two of my best friends to have these same caring and compassionate characters. It has been a blessing to have been a part of her life and to have shared so many special moments with her and her family. I look forward to watching her influence continue to develop in Lindsay and Ashley, and by God's grace to meet again when Jesus returns.
Harold, Janette, Daryl, Penny, The Dooks & Brown Families: We are all very sad to hear of the passing of your dear one Donna. We only had the pleasure or meeting Donna a few times, and are most grateful to have made her aquaintance. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, at this difficult time. Our hearts are heavy, but we also know that she is safe asleep awaiting our Lord's return. Our deepest condolences. Scott and Debbie Wheeler & Family
I wish with all of my heart I could be home with my family at this time of pain. I miss you all from the depths of my soul and am sending all my love across the oceans that separate us. I will always continue to love and admire Auntie Donna in all of her wonderful loving, caring, thoughtful and beautiful ways. My life is forever touched and changed by having her in it and I can't wait to see her again. Missing you and loving you always.
So sorry for your loss Ashley! I will let Shilo know as soon as we hear from her and Jay again on the Appalation Trail.
With Sympathy from:
Russ and Terri Bruce (Shilo's mom and dad)
