I lived across the street from the Adams from the time I was born in 1965 until age 2. "Dot - Dot" as I would call her was like a second mother to me. My memories are so full of love for her. And seeing that this was all before the age of 2 and the loving memories are still so vivid; she was indeed a special woman. I would play at her house everyday in the kitchen in "my drawer". I'm 47 now but I will always be grateful to Dot for showing such love to me. She lives on in my heart.

Dottie("Sis") was a beloved friend by all, she touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was my best friend & I will miss our phone calls & times we spent together. Our family gatherings will forever have a spot for her, she will not be forgotten. My deepest sympathies to all the family Charley sends his love & support, too.

Dottie was a delight to be around and to talk with. She was thoughtful and loving. I know she is happy with our Lord and our heavenly Mother Mary. She will always be in our memory and prayers. Our greatest sympathy goes out to you all. Joyce and Robert Murphy

Chuck and Dottie were my parents' neighbors for years. Through the years mom and Dottie became best friends. In recent years they would check on one another by making sure they were up and going every morning...the opened curtain was their signal. There were days when the phone would ring and Dottie would be on the other end telling mom "come to your door" then Dottie would come across the street with a chocolate cake or a wonderful home cooked meal for dinner. Dottie knew how much Fred liked sweets...as she would leave after dropping off a treat Fred would tell her "thank you for the goodies Dottie". One day about a week and a half ago Dottie called mom to make sure she was home...next thing you know there they were, at the door, with a lemon meringue pie...one of mom's favorites. Thank you Dottie for watching out for my mom she misses you so much and thanks for the goodies.
Our hearts are heavy..you have our deepest sympathies.
