Dottie,

Thank you for your friendship for the last 23 years. You were there when I started my Navy career in Orlando and have always guided me until I retired from the service. I will forever miss our phone conversations and trips to the Olympia whenever I was in town.

Thank you for your wisdom and mentorship, for being a part of my life, and for being a second "mom" to me.

Dottie has been a pillar to me for the last 45 years, first 35 with Charlie & then, after Charlie's death, by herself. Pam & I always stopped in Orlando every summer to see them when we were on home leave from Saudi Arabia.
I always turned to her for advice & morale boost. She never refused nor
disappointed me. She treated & trained me well. For the last 10 years,
we had our weekly hour-long conversations, again setting me straight
on many issues. I am going to miss these weekly chats, for me, lessons for life. I will miss & love you forever for all the things you have been to me.

Thank you Dorothy for all the Christmas card I received for the past years even though I haven't met you in person. Through my brother Danilo Salazar, we connected...and you are his second mother, an angel to all ...you will never be forgotten, my prayers to you and to your family .
Heaven is welcoming you, no more pain and sorrow.
Song of joy will be heard from all the angels , this is not a goodbye but more of saying until we meet in heaven. Sincerely, MaryAnn of San Diego

Sharon,
Leo Buscaglia wrote exactly what I wanted to say,
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint on our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."

I wish I could be there like you were for me when my mom passed. I'm sending you love and healing energy.
InSpirit, Yetta
