Having grown up next door to the Trapp family in Springfield, I was fortunate to spend a little time with Grandma Dorothy. Each time she saw her family her face lit up with joy. Wishing you all comfort in your time of grief and peace knowing that she will be watching over you with that same smile again.

When I started working at Lincoln Community High School with her she was so kind and sweet. She taught me many things through our years together working in the library. I too, I have received many postcards and Christmas Cards from her through the years. She will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go to Dorothy's family & friends. I worked with her at LCHS for many years. A smile comes to my face when I think of her, her humor, her kindness, her Christmas cards from all over the world, and the time I spent with her one summer in Paris!! What a classy lady! She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

My deep sympathy to the family and friends of the lovely woman I remember as Mrs. Trapp. She bestowed many smiles and kind words on young people in Lincoln. I know in later years she did the same for Seniors and many others in the community. May happy, loving memories comfort those close to her.
