Mr. D.W. 'Mac' McDonald Jr.
Mac was truly a God send to my 19 years as his neighbor, he was always there with a laugh or an ear to listen. He was lively, witty and always had a good word to say about everyone! My deepest sympathy to Ms Nettie and the family. He is truly a legacy that will be missed on DeMilo street, Oak Forest.
Family gatherings will not be the same without Uncle Mac to grab my arm, laugh and say Hi Sandra, How are you doing? Some of my fondest memories are the times spent around the fire at the deer camp. I am sure that Gene, Daddy and Uncle Mac are telling the same old stories again and again. Rest in peace.
I will always remember how much Mac loved his family, friends, and life! His zest for life that was contagious and he definitely had a huge positive impact on my childhood! Love you Mac!
Sharen and I send our condolences to the family. Mac was always lots of fun to visit and we enjoyed the conversation. Always greeting you with his welcome smile.
Rest in peace!
Sharen and Bill Howerton
I love uncle Mac and will always remember his kindness and humor! I have many fond memories of being in Net and Mac's home for special family events or to visit Grandmother Pettigrew. He will be missed, but his legacy certainly lives on not only in our memories but in his wonderful family!
Love, Jennifer Pettigrew Wright
