So sad to hear of Earl's passing. He was a wonderful neighbor on Trowbridge Rd. All the kids loved Mr. Nelson. Our condolences to Mary and boys.
Your dad was a wonderful man and will be
greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy.
When Earl was in Army Reserves Training at Fort Dix he would visit us at nearby McGuire AFB. Earl was his charming self and our older children still remember those visits and "Uncle Earl". One of the Earlisms he used was "They are all different, Mother". We still use these words of wisdom giving Earl full credit everytime. He will be a part of our family's life for generations to come. Earl, colored our lives a little brighter. Don LaFave, Thayer HIgh School 1952
I met Grampy Nelson at my sister, Anne Perra's house in Newport many years ago. What a gem! He was so good to Anne, Ron, Jessica, and Brian. He made everyone smile and laugh. God's blessing and comfort to the extended family.
I first met Earle and Mary when I started going with his brother Don. He was so nice to me and was always a nice friend. I will miss him as I thought quite a bit of him ellie
