Major Thompson
You are one of a kind! Even with last moment you tried to talk to me and smiles
whenever I talked to you. Iknow you are happy now in heaven with our Lord Jesus
Christ . You will be in my heart and my sisters Susan and Tess forever. We are grateful and honored to be your caregivers.
We love you!????

Well little brother, you beat me to heaven. You were always my "big" little brother. I know how proud you were to be a Marine, but I was more proud of you for being and doing what I couldn't. You made me proud just for being you. You lived a good life. You have left a hole in my life and my heart that can't be filled by anyone else. I guess you will have to hold a place for this 100 year old brother. I will honor your memory as being one of the greatest brothers I could of had, being a good father, and for being there for my kids, and for serving this great country as "One of The Chosen Few" in the United States Marine Corp. You will live in my heart forever. Please keep an empty chair at the poker table so we can have good times again. Until we meet up above, I love you - Your "little" big brother Forrest

Uncle Earl. You were my "real life John Wayne hero". You helped teach me to love my country, my flag, and to honor all service men and women who served in any branch of service. You showed me that freedom is not free, and you helped me keep the freedoms I have today. I will miss our times together when we would sing (and I loved your voice), our walks, our talks, and your infectious smile. It has been my honor to have you as my Uncle. Until we can be together again, may God bless and keep you. I know you will be watching and protecting us from above. I will always love you, and I will really miss you as you took a part of my heart with you. Again, all my love and wish I could hug you one more time.

Major Earl Wayne Thompson, USMC, Retired. Uncle you will always be my "real life John Wayne hero" You have taken a part of my heart with you. I did so enjoy our times together with your singing, our walks, and your infectious smile. You taught me the love of our country, our flag, and for those who serve in any branch of service for they have given of themselves to keep the freedoms I have today. You were a very special man and I love you and will miss you always. Until we are together again, may God bless and keep you. I know you will guard and keep us safe from above.
