Earle Robert Bunten

I worked with Earle as a first year Resident at the Royal Alex in Edmonton. We were on a 1 in 2 rotation for a month in CCU together as well as other rotations. He was just a fantastic person to work with. Funny, hard working, helpful, enthusiastic and very caring. He was the opposite of a slacker.

My wife Debbie and I were looking forward to seeing Earle this fall at the reunion but we will still have a lot of great memories of him.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies. He was a great guy.

Earle was a good doctor and wonderful man. He will be sadly missed.

I knew Earle from university days and cannot believe that he has passed on. My sincere condolences go out to his family. We spent many evenings talking about everything and nothing, but Earle was always a pleasure to be around and a friend to be counted on. He will be missed by all that he touched in this world.

I WAS UPSET AND SURPRISED TO HEAR ABOUT EARLE'S RECENT PASSING. I KNEW EARLE WELL FOR THE FOUR YEARS OF MEDICAL SCHOOL WE SPENT TOGETHER AND I WOULD LIKE TO THINK THAT WE WERE CLOSE. I REMEMBER THE BUNTEN FAMILY FONDLY, AND GRIEVE WITH THEM AS I HAD OCCASION TO ONCE PREVIOUSLY ON THE SAD EVENT OF THE LOSS OF THEIR DAUGHTER IN THE LAST YEAR OF EARLE'S MEDICAL TRAINING. OBVIOUSLY SINCE THAT TIME LIKE SO MANY OTHERS WE HAVE DRIFTED APART. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW SORRY I FEEL FOR YOU ALL. YOUR SON/BROTHER/FATHER HAS MEANT A LOT TO ME EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM IN MANY YEARS. I KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.
