So many memories of Dorothy and Eddie and their family. In the 1950's they visited us in Florida. Also remember in late 1990's a wonderful visit with Eddie at a fish fry reunion held at Joyce Armstrong Williams' home in Tomball. Debbie Lovett Burkett, Mixon, Texas
Eddie was a cousin to me but in many ways more like an older brother. Since he lived in Houston I did not get to see him as much as I would have liked but we conversed on the phone and by email on a regular basis. Eddie was a great Christian man. If the dictionary had pictures and you looked up the word "Christian" there you would find Eddie's picture. The world has lost a great man. I will miss him.
I offer my sympathy to you all. We have lost a great man. He and Dorothy were two of my favorite people at the church.
The beloved Eddie Campbell, like Abraham, the father of the faithful, "died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years, and was gathered to his people."
May the God of all comfort be with the Campbell family during this time of grief...psalms 55:22
