As a member of the Chaffey Class of 1953 and a lobg time supporter of the Chaffey Alumnus I hold Mr. Berryman in awe. Thank you for all your effort in making Chaffey High School a life long experience for me. God bless you. Set aside your burdens in life. Rest in peace.
Ed was "Grandpa Candy" to my children and family since we moved to Ontario in 1985. He got his name because he and Lou always had a bowl of candy just inside the door and when my daughter was just learning to talk, she ran next door and asked him, "Grandpa, candy?" Of course he obliged and earned his sweet name for life. Ed may have had a gruff exterior but he had a soft heart for me and my kids and we will miss him very much.
Dear Lou and Family So sorry to hear of Ed's passing . What a asset to the community he was loved and will be missed by all
Ed was a joy and a pleasure to know. He has done so much for Chaffey High School and has been an outstanding president of the CHS Alumni Association. We will all miss him greatly.
I am saddened to see of Eds passing. While I was employed at Draper Mortuary for many many years, Ed and Lou were always so friendly to me. My prayers go out to the family at this time.
