We met Payson, as many did, in the MCV Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Clinic when our child was diagnosed with cancer. There was never a more giving, caring soul that brought happiness to what could at times be a difficult place. His artistry, writing and creativity, made the sun shine where ever he was. Thank you Payson for your love and sharing. You comforted so many. Love, The Stricklers (Leslie, Al, Harrison, Olivia and Maggie)
To my buddy Payson, I love you, you were my special friend. You will be missed.
We are saddened to hear of your family's loss. Please know that your father was a wonderful and caring man. We met him in 1997, and he became our daughters "Gaurdian Angel". He touched our lives tremendously, and will forever live in our hearts! He will be greatly missed.
We cannot imagine the absence of Payson in our Bon Secours lives and can only begin to grasp what his loss must mean to his beloved family. Please know that Payson is - and will be - long remembered and honored in every corner of St. Mary's Hospital.
Our hearts are sad at the loss of a wonderful man and a dear friend. Your father was a loving, caring, gentle spirit who touched the lives of so many people he met. His heart was always filled with love and his smile would light the room. Please know we share in your family's deep sorrow.
