Dear Susan,Sandra and Geraldine,
Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great help when I was a young mother with two little children and a husband at sea and all my family back in Quebec!
We both spoke French but you wouldn't believe it was the same language. I'm not sure if you knew that Teresa passed away two years ago with cancer. She was in her forty-seventh year. Was Carol about the same age?
My sympathy to all the family. She was a great lady.
Cherish a life well lived! I have fond memories of boarding at your house.Just what your mom needed another girl in her house.I felt her love and kindness and can remember the many stories we gave her for being late for our 9pm curfew.[many I'm sure now she didn't believe.]A real hard worker who made great rappie pie and loved bingo-all things I remember when I think of her.
Our hearts go out to all of Elise's family. It is always hard to loss a Mom.
I remember your Mom with a lovely, happy smile on her face every time I saw her.
You will cherish all the wonderful memories of her and this will help you get through this difficult time.
