I have fond memories of Dad's kind, sweet brother, even though we weren't able to visit together often over the years. The reunion at Appomattox stands out. Uncle Elmo obviously loved his children and grandchildren.

Tom and Wayne, we pray for you and your families for the loss of your father. My sisters and my brother fondly remember our Uncle Elmo, our father's brother. Although we have been separated by the years and the miles, we know that he was a fine man, a true gentleman and a loving and generous father.

I'll always remember Mr. Banton's constant smile and his freindly demeanor. I never saw him frown. I am very sorry for your loss, Wayne and Tom.
