Auguleen was a very special lady that will truly be missed by many.

My Aunt Auguleen was a very special lady. I remember as a young boy the visits she and Howard made to visit my Dad, Ed Sullivan, Jr. Howard was full of laughter and humor and always made you laugh, but especially Aunt Auguleen who had this way about her that always made you feel special. She cared about you, as she did about all members of her family, biological and extended. And thank you Luther for the gentleness that you have extended to this wonderful lady. The greatest gift, I think, that we could all give her, is to carry her spirit of kindness, tempered with toughness, within each of us to continue her legacy and to tell her story to the young ones so they know the meaning of what a "special lady" truly is. Thank you Aunt Auguleen, I Love You.....

Auguleen was my dad's cousin, and without her I would never have learned much about Dad's family. She told me where my great-grandfather was buried and I was shocked to find it was in Texas within about a 3 hour drive. I will always miss her, and her knowledge of the Sullivan family.

Aunt Auguleen has always been one of the brightest stars in the Sullivan family. She has always been "in charge" and handled everything with ladylike dignity. When my mother died, she said she would be a mother to me when I needed one. She only had the one son, but many children. She will be greatly missed.
