Dear Ed,
There you are on your next great adventure . . . and I miss you already. So often we shared visits, exchanged thoughts & compared age related symptoms. But no more. We have so much to remember, a blending of families, the births of our successors, & the pride we share of their triumphs. No more talk of WWII. Hey Ed, you & me, we won that one! You are now reunited with the love of your life, a joyous occasion. I have that to look forward to.
So dear friend, there is an empty space where you once were. A space only you could fill.
Eventually you and I will have eternity to catch up!
Rest well,
Harold

Pop,

Thank you for providing a safe harbor from the storms of my youth. When the oceans sometimes roared with impossible currents and danger, you were always there with a steady hand on the rudder. Sometimes overly stern, but always right. Say hello to tias Cathy, Frances, Loli, Dena, tios Jess, Francisco, Emiliano, Narciso, nuestros abuelos Caesar, Loraine, and our nephew Christopher Kuhlman. And when you see mom, give her the kiss of a lifetime from all your children! Of course, don't forget to greet all of the great friends who brought smiles to your face and produced that grin that told me and the world that all would be right. The son and father are one.

Love,

Goyo
