I have such fond memories of Gene from my childhood days...always taking me to the park and enjoying a triple scoop of ice cream. I remember how handsome he was too. It was so great to meet up again last year at the family reunion...his stories were precious to me and he even remembered my very first words as a baby which he shared as soon as we met. I will treasure that day! Love and Blessing to all the family from John and me. Cynthia (Bruno) Moretti Australia

So sad to hear about Gene. I remember him as a teenager visiting us in Mount Vernon, NY, and also after he had enlisted in the Navy. My wife, Ellen and I were happy to have spent some time with him at the reunion catching up and learning more of the family history. He will be missed.

My remembrance of cousin Gene goes way back to when he and Kae were
high school sweethearts. Then again when we were newlyweds living in
Phila. and he was the handsome Navy officer with then small children.
We are grateful for his help in recounting family events and will always
remember his storytelling at the Patonetz family reunion. Cousin Eleanor and family

Several years ago when visiting my friend Joan in Toms River, we knocked on Kae and Gene's door. This visit led to working with Gene to help him get his book "RA My Foot" into shape for publishing and getting to know many Danyo cousins I had not known before. It had been a joyful reunion and now now so sad to lose both Kae and Gene within a few months. My heart and love goes out to all of the Danyo family.
