Eugenia Teakle Ashbrook

Wednesday, April 07, 2010
Anybody that knew Eugenia Ashbrook would know how strong and wonderful she was. She was always there when you need her the most and she would be the best person to go to if you was having a bad day and needed to be cheered up, quickly. It seems like the days flew by and it seems like I was just sitting on the swing with her talking away just yesterday.. I wish that I could go back to those days to be with my Grandmother, and listen to her stories that she would tell many times, once again, even if it was just for 5 minutes. Alzheimer's and Dementia is a cheating and heartless disease.. They take the people we love and need the most a lot quicker then what we always want.. I'm just glad she never forgot who I was. I thank God everyday for that blessing of her not forgetting me.
I love you so much, Grandma but I miss you even more. I can't wait to see you again. - Your sweetie, And granddaughter, Amy.
