I remember sitting with Aunt Eunice in her kitchen as a little girl and she told me, "A watched pot never boils"...and staying with her on the day of President Kennedy's funeral and watching it with her on the TV. I remember at our family get togethers how mom and her sisters would argue, "I'll do the dishes, you've been working too hard!" and all the while there was Aunt Eunice already doing the dishes! I was with her once in the grocery store and she had baby Mark with her, and a woman came up and asked how old her baby was, not realizing she was the grandmother...Aunt Eunice was always so young looking! So many dear memories...how she made a summer lunch of hot dogs and kool-aid a special event by going over to the park to eat, how Uncle Cecil always called her Pert. Thank you, Lord, for blessing our family with such a dear, sweet woman!
