We felt so privileged to attend a lovely service for a very special cousin, and see how the family has increased! Evelyn and John Trice can never be duplicated! Please thank the church ladies for the best meal ever and thank the one who wrote the lovely poem too. This was especially dear for sister, Elaine Smith.
The ancestor photo was found in my grandmothers attic, in box marked, Brady/Beavers. The families were neighbors in northern Alabama, and James Brady and Martha Beavers married and moved to Texas and had 14 children that produced probably over 300 cousins by now. One of the 14 was my grandmother, Minnie Brady, who married Lacey D Midgett, who was the first principal and math teacher of Wood High. On retirement, they moved to Bay City. Minnie was a sister to Doc Brady, John Trice Brady's father.
