Dear Trish: I just learned of Gardy's passing. He is (not was) a great guy and a good friend. I well recall the fun as MC I had at the school 150 year banquet roasting him! He laid the foundation for the great school it is today.
Our family claims to have more of our members go there than anyone else-from Marnie's aunt at the Milwaukee-German Academy early in the 20th century to one of our grandkids who graduated last year.
Marnie passed away three years ago, and I am living with her sister in CA.
I hope you are doing well. God Bless you.
Dear Trish and Family:
We remember Gardie and you with such affection for the many years that we
were associated at the Head-Royce School. Your happy retirement in Orleans and we were so glad to be able to visit you there several years ago and share the happy memories (and the wonderful lobster) that you provided. Blessings to you and your family. We think of you often.

It is with great fondness that I recall the years you and Gardie shared with us at Head-Royce. Gardie was a kind and thoughtful leader. He supported my professional growth and always asked about my family. You hosted the best faculty parties! My sympathies to you and your family.
It was always a pleasure to meet up with Gardie.BIG smile and welcome. He made me feel so special.I will miss him,
