My favorite memory of Brother Tanner was watching him up on stage at the Road Shows and Olympus 1st ward events. Together with Doug Bagley, Craig Hackett, and others, they would put together a little singing act that would make everyone smile and laugh; it was like watching The Three Stooges. Brother Tanner was always friendly and a good example of a caring and loving father to his family. My heart goes out to the Tanner family.
Dear JoAnn and family,
Please accept our love and sympathy at the death of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
I (John) have many fond memories as a dental colleague of Floyd's, especially as a member of the Salt Lake Dental Seminar. He was gifted in his craft and skillful in dealing with people at all levels.
We will miss the viewing and funeral because we are serving a Nauvoo Temple Mission.
May we remember Floyd in the best of times.
With Love, John and Pat Bevan
To my favorite next door neighbors in the WHOLE WORLD:
We were out of town and didn't know about Floyd's passing. I am SO sorry! I hope that you can find the peace that I know will come. At least I can say that I know how you feel. So many emotions...please give all your family members a hug from the Longs. We love your family so much.
Joann and Mindy:
We are so sorry to miss the funeral. We are out of town and we love Floyd so so much. We are thinking about your family and know that this is such a hard time for you. You have gone through so much hardship in your lives. We love you and will see you when we get home from California.
XOXO Frank and Laura and family
We extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family in your great loss; and our admiration of your love, support and care for Floyd.
May God be with you.
Life-long friend Mike Scott and wife Lynda.
