I've only known Sonny since he had been living in Tallassee but he was a pleasure to visit. Wished I had known him in his 'better' days. I'll miss him so much. I met you, Kim, one day in the dining room and told you what a pleasure your father was. Orrie Ann wants to send her condolences as well.
Sonny, you are going to be missed. Thank you for the fond memories and stories. Thank you for sharing about your life and adventures. Sonny, you are going to be missed. Aloha my friend.

Deepest sympathy to the Coburn family. I have alot of fond memories flying with Sonny. He was a good friend, and a blessing to us.

We are saddened to here the loss of a Friend, Military and 357th Airlift Squadron Member. One of the first members of the 357th Tactical Airlift Squadron in 1983 I meet and will be remembered as a Flight Engineer that could keep the Cargo Compartment cool or hot; Thanks Sonny. He was a great mentor in my life both military and civilian. He will be missed but the memories are forever.
